The Hire
Purchase, Finance and Leasing Association of
(formerly known as The Association of Hire-Purchase and Finance
Companies) was formed in 1956 as the representative body of motor dealers and
finance institutions in The
Registered Office of the Association is 545 Orchard Road #13-12/13 Far East
Shopping Centre, A non-profit
organization, the objective of the Association is to promote, enhance and
safeguard the interest of its members, provide information and maintain a
Registry for recording of encumbrances on motor vehicles/machinery under hire
purchase, lease agreements, bills of sale or floor stock agreements. Membership
is opened to any firm or company registered or incorporated in The
Association is managed by a Committee of not more than (17) and not less than
(7) Members. The
Management Committee* is elected biennially at the
Annual General Meeting of Members by majority votes for a term of 2 years. |
